Nobody knows who Geek Devil really is. Some say he's a former Hollywood insider. Others believe he was raised in a secret underground bunker surrounded by VHS tapes, comic books and every gaming console ever manufactured. A few claim he's actually three people sharing one keyboard.

The truth? Nobody knows. And that's exactly how he likes it.

What we do know is that Geek Devil possesses an almost supernatural knowledge of movies, TV shows and gaming. He knows every plot twist, every obscure reference, every forgotten character and every sequel Hollywood wishes you'd forgotten.

His knowledge of movies is so extensive that IMDb occasionally checks with him before publishing its own information. He doesn't watch movies. Movies audition for him.

When it comes to gaming, he's seen it all, played it all and probably completed it all before you've even found the Start button.

But his greatest weapon? Words.

Armed with a keyboard, razor-sharp wit and an unhealthy supply of sarcasm, Geek Devil can turn even the most ordinary piece of news into something worth reading. His editorial skills are legendary. Rumour has it he once corrected a Hollywood screenplay just by watching the trailer.

As Editor-in-Chief, he operates from somewhere in the digital shadows, keeping the geek world informed, entertained and occasionally terrified.

There are no confirmed photographs. No verified interviews. No public appearances. Just an endless stream of brilliant content and the occasional rumour that he's watching you through your Blu-ray collection.

A few things we know about Geek Devil:

• He knows the ending of every movie. Even the ones that haven't been made yet.
• He can identify a movie from a single frame, a half-heard soundtrack or the shape of someone's elbow.
• His gaming achievements are so legendary that some developers have quietly named Easter eggs after him.
• He doesn't need Google. Google needs him.
• His movie collection has its own postcode.
• He considers spoilers a criminal offence, unless he's the one delivering them.
• He has never lost an argument about Star Wars or Star Trek. Mainly because nobody has been brave enough to start one.
• His keyboard has a higher body count than most horror movies.
• Shigeru Miyamoto and Hideo Kojima both have him on speed dial. Rumour has it he's been called upon to settle legendary gaming debates and offer creative advice. Some say he's secretly invited to play-test their latest games before anyone else gets their hands on them. His feedback is reportedly worth more than the entire development budget.
• George Lucas is rumoured to be the only person in Hollywood to possess a photograph of Geek Devil. It was allegedly taken during a secret meeting and is kept under lock and key. Several collectors have reportedly tried to get their hands on a copy, but nobody has ever seen the original.
